SpectraScribe Transcription Management System is a web based system developed by us and allows Hospitals to send Dictation voice files of Doctors to a web server, and Transcriptionists to receive these files and send back the transcribed documents. The system automatically sends out e-mail intimations with details to all concerned at each stage of the workflow. Every stage of each job is automatically logged and complete management reporting is provided. It also allows instant retrieval of voice files and documents.
This system allows the transcription to be done at remote locations by competent transcriptionists instead of restricting the work to be physically handled at or via the doctor's office. The system makes it easy for Doctors to handle the workflow for their dictations by themselves and to check patient records from multiple places. The automatic e-mail intimations to everyone, help the jobs to be completed much quicker.
This system is hosted by us on a server running IIS and handles a large volume of transcription files daily for several Hospitals and Clinics. There is a slideshow and further description of this system on the site.
This system was developed using VBScript, ASP, java applets under Microsoft Visual Interdev.
