Spectra Groups is a web based application, to implement knowledge based groupware solutions very quickly and effortlessly. This application allows groups within companies to contribute ideas, articles and any other information accessible to everyone in the group, empowering each member to make use of the entire pool of knowledge available to the group.
Knowledge Management entails managing and sharing knowledge over intranets and the internet. Knowledge management is one of the most important emerging areas in doing business over the internet. Knowledge known to individuals is not even worth a small fraction of the the combined knowledge of any group. The benefits of using groupware applications to empower all individuals in a group is enormous. Instead of people representing islands of knowledge with extremely limited usefulness, these applications all of a sudden enable each person to multiply his or her potential many times. This system is hosted under IIS and was developed using VBScript with the scripting object model and ASP. |
